Pine Canyon

A private, gated community on the south side of Flagstaff, built into the largest contiguous ponderosa pine forest in the world at seven thousand feet.

Established in 2002, this prestigious private golf community spans more than 650 acres of tall pines in the heart of Flagstaff, surrounded by the Coconino National Forest on three sides.

Altitude matters. Snowbowl, Flagstaff’s ski mountain just 30 minutes north, captures the heart of the outdoor enthusiast all year round.

Pine Canyon, a Firewise community, features city water, fire, sewer and gas. The community is a quick 5 minutes from downtown, which offers small town art walks, festivities, a farmers’ market, and dining for the most diverse palate.

Whether visiting or searching for your next home, Flagstaff has unique advantages. More than 4 million tourists visit annually, it remains among the top 10 cities to retire, it is home to Northern Arizona University, and it keeps its small town feel while offering four daily flights via American Airlines.

Summer
The average temperature in July is 82 degrees. Blue skies, puffy white clouds and late afternoon monsoon storms are the trademark of this high country small town.
Autumn
The fall colors are brilliant gold through the aspens, with maples turning red. The timeless tall pines complete the setting for a town ranked among the top ten nationally for retirement.
Winter
Real snow, white and cold, though the winters stay mild. Arizona Snowbowl now offers strong and consistent ski and snowboard seasons with its snowmaking. Flagstaff averages 70 inches of snow a year.
Spring
While the chill lingers, the weather is bright and windy, and snow is often present on the San Francisco Peaks until late May. Flagstaff records an average of 288 days of blue skies.
